All the classic typewriters on our website have been thoroughly serviced, and come complete with new ribbons fitted.

Our aim is to restore these lovely examples of engineering to their original specifications for future generations to enjoy. We do not believe in the practice of customising as we respect the workmanship and design of the people who built these wonderful machines.

George was asked to appear on BBC televisions the One show in conjunction with the visit of Tom Hanks to the studio, who is an avid collector of vintage typewriters.

He was thrilled to be invited to join the team at BBC1's 'The Repair Shop', where he restored an important 1911 Underwood Standard office typewriter with historical Royal connections.
