Thank you for my typewriter. I was expecting a 50 year old machine with some signs of wear. Instead I got a 1974 machine in pristine condition. It's perfect. What a bargain.

Hi Neil,
I just wanted to say how thrilled I am with my new typewriter. I used it for the first time today and it is honestly so gorgeous. It's my first ever time using one and what a pleasure it is to type with.
Thank you for your advice, packaging it up so carefully and your lovely note. I'm really looking forward to learning more about it and honing my typing skills.

Apologies for the delay in sending this email, but I just wanted to say a big thank you for a lovely visit to your shop last week.
It was so kind to take a look at the Remington for me, much appreciated.
Also, I am loving the Olivetti Studio 45. What a remarkably restored machine it is, you would never guess it is 50+ years old. Writing on it is a joy, and it works flawlessly even when typing at speed.
I shall be keeping an eye on what you have in stock, and may have to visit you again in the new year...!

I want to say I received my new wonderful orange brother deluxe portable 250TR a couple of days ago I absolutely love it.
Every single bit of George Blackmans customer service is impeccable. I emailed to ask questions as I hadn't had a typewriter since the 1980s, I received a message back so fast answering all my questions helping me decide which typewriter would suit me and my needs.
I ordered on Sunday. It was shipped fast and received next day delivery I cannot recommend George Blackman enough great customer service from start to finish thank you so much Nicky.

Good Morning,
I am so delighted with the refurbishment that Neil carried out on my Good Companion Typewriter serial EO985. It is so much better than I could have imagined and works perfectly, indeed I am sure it now functions just as it would have done 80 years ago.
It is a working machine that will see regular use but also it is a delight to the eye sitting, as it does, in pride of place on my writing desk well away from this computer which is in a different room. I could not possibly place them close together.
Thank you once again for the excellent refurbishment and please pass on my gratitude to all your staff, it was a pleasure to do business with you and I am sure that we will be in touch again.
