This beautiful four bank portable from the famous American company Underwood, was manufactured at their Bridgeport Connecticut factory in 1939 and is in excellent original condition. The machine has lovely original black crackle finish paintwork and silver lettering, with attractive engraved black keytops and chrome key rings. The typewriter has been fully serviced in our workshop and types very well with a nice clear standard pica typeface giving you 10 characters to the inch. It is supplied with the original carry case, and a copy of the user instructions. A lovely example of this finely engineered model.
