This top of the range West German model is in excellent original condition and has been fully serviced in our workshop. Manufactured in 1967 at the Wilhelmshaven factory, this is one of the earlier SM9's to come off the production line, and was made to a very fine standard. The machine writes excellently with a lovely clear standard elite typeface giving you 12 characters to the inch, and being the top of the range features a keyset tabulator and superb quality chrome fittings to the carriage. It is supplied with it’s original carry case, original typeface cleaning brush and a copy of user instructions. This model is widely regarded as one of the best portable typewriters ever made.
