This SM2 portable was manufactured at Olympia's Wilhelmshaven factory in 1958 with original Sherwood green crackle finish paintwork, chrome fittings and a lovely trim that gives it a great 50's retro look. The machine has been fully serviced with a new ribbon fitted and types very well with a nice clear standard elite typeface giving you 12 characters to the inch. It is supplied with the original contoured wooden carry case, typeface cleaning brush and a copy of user instructions. A fine example of this top quality West German model.
