This beautiful SM2 portable was manufactured at Olympia's Wilhelmshaven factory in 1951 with lovely rare original Burgundy crackle finish paintwork, top quality chrome fittings and a lovely trim that gives it a great 50's retro look. The machine has been fully serviced with a new ribbon fitted and types very well with a nice clear pica typeface giving you 10 characters to the inch. It is supplied with the original carry case, Olympia typeface cleaning brush  and a copy of user instructions. A fine example of this superb quality West German model.
