This top of the range West German model is in excellent condition and has been fully serviced in our workshop. Manufactured in 1968 at the Wilhelmshaven factory, the early SM9's to come off the production line were made to a very fine standard. The machine writes excellently with a lovely clear elite typeface (12 characters to the inch), and being the top of the range features a keyset tabulator and chrome fittings to the carriage. It is supplied with the original carry case and user instructions. In our opinion this model is one of the best portable typewriters ever made.
