Imperial The Good Companion Model T Portable (1939)

Imperial The Good Companion Model T Portable (1939)

This beautiful looking typewriter was manufactured at Imperial's Leicester factory in 1939 and is the model 'T' version which has the added feature of a keyset tabulator. It is in excellent original condition, with lovely gold lettering on the mirror finish black enamel paintwork with attractive chrome fittings. On the top plate is the original badge showing the Royal Warrant to King George V which is still in excellent condition. On the other side of the top plate is the original dealers badge 'S.R. Batson Ltd'.  The machine has been fully serviced in our workshop with a new ribbon fitted, and is in very good working order, it types with a nice clear pica typeface giving you 10 characters to the inch. This lovely portable is supplied with the original carry case, original Imperial typeface cleaning brush, and a copy of user instructions. A very fine example of the 'Model T'.

Replacement ribbon for this machine is available to rewind onto the original spools. (group 1)
