This lovely portable typewriter was based on the design of the Hermes Baby and is in superb original condition. It was manufactured by 'British Typewriters Ltd' at their West Bromwich factory in 1953 and has a very neat slim design which makes it easy to carry. It has been fully serviced in our workshop with a new ribbon fitted and types with a standard pica typeface giving you 10 characters to the inch. The machine is supplied with the original clip on metal carry case and original user instructions. A very fine example of British engineering from the 1950's.
